There is no reason to learn software programs through trial and error. Even though you may be capable of teaching yourself a new software program, it is a large time commitment and a less efficient way to learn tried and tested methods quickly. At AltaSim Technologies, we want you to use your time most effectively and become proficient in a new program with less frustration.

Student Testimonials
Objective
Methods to identify errors and mistakes encountered during model development are discussed. The class will provide solutions to understand and address common error messages, warnings and other feedback provided by COMSOL Multiphysics®.
Cost
The cost for this one-hour course is $49 per person. You will leave with new skills to work on your own applications.
Who should attend
Troubleshooting Your COMSOL Multiphysics® models is ideal for people with experience using the software that seek to better understand how to interpret feedback provided by COMSOL Multiphysics®. Previous experience with COMSOL Multiphysics® is required to maximize your learning experience in this course.
Instructors
Instruction will be performed by experienced engineers who use COMSOL Multiphysics on a daily basis to solve real world problems. Among the instructors will be:
Josh Thomas
With more than ten years of computational analysis experience, Josh has a graduate level training in computational mechanics modeling, specializing in microstructural analysis. As a Senior Engineer at AltaSim, he plays a vital role in developing solutions to a wide range of multiphysics problems using COMSOL. He has been integral to the development and teaching of both COMSOL Multiphysics and SpaceClaim courses at AltaSim.
Sergei Yushanov
Sergei has more than 30 years experience in computational analysis and specializes in analysis of problems relating to structural, piezo-electric, thermal, electro-magnetic, vibration, plasma and acoustic phenomena. As a Principal Engineer at AltaSim he has been instrumental in the development and application of multiphysics analysis to real world problems in the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Products, Consumer Products, and Energy markets.
Course Hours
This web-based training will be taught by a live instructor and will last approximately one (1) hour.
Payment Methods
Payment should be provided in advance and can be made by Credit Card, or PayPal. For security purposes please do not send your credit card information by e-mail.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that your seat in the course can not be confirmed until payment has been received. Instructor-led training tuition is fully refundable if we receive written notification (via mail or e-mail) of cancellation on or before seven business days prior to the class. If you fail to show up to class without written notice, you will be charged the full tuition. You may send a substitute in your place to avoid a fee.
Hear What Our Students are Saying
"I took the Multiphysics Solutions using COMSOL Multiphysics: An Introductory Training Course. It helped me jump start my understanding of COMSOL and how to build simulation models as well as visualize the results. I don’t regularly use COMSOL in my daily work so it is hard to remember all I learned. As a result, I often refer back to the class notes to help me remember how to do a specific task or what settings are needed to accomplish a specific action. The class and notes are valuable as a reference. AltaSim does a good job of training their students. I would recommend them for COMSOL training."
- Jim Vinson ~~ Renesas Electronics Corp.
"I attended two training courses titled "Electromagnetics in COMSOL Multiphysics: AC/DC" and "RF and Wave Optics" where I gained the necessary fundamental knowledge to dig deeper and obtain what is needed to enhance my research work. The efforts Dr. Yushanov invested in delivering the fundamental concepts have greatly helped to strengthen my understanding in building models and run simulations efficiently. These courses have also helped me to gain the required knowledge within a relatively short period of time. Thus, AltaSim Technologies, given its prestigious reputation in COMSOL training, is and will always be my first choice for training courses, as it provides all required knowledge for the most ideal habitat for my career aspiration in performing academic research."
