Research Engineer

Qualifications (required):

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
2. Understanding of the principles of Finite Element Analysis
3. Experience with computational fluid dynamics and thermal analysis
4. Experience using ANSYS CFD
5. Knowledge of fundamental engineering practices and procedures
6. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Qualifications (beneficial):

1. Previous work in a commercial research/consulting environment
2. COMSOL Multiphysics software
3. Java programming
4. Statistical analysis of scientific results

Duties:

Work under the supervision of experienced scientists and engineers to develop and apply advanced finite element procedures and translate the solutions into practical applications.
